How do you get to Roatan? There are several options available:
International Flights: Roatan has an international airport (RTB) with direct flights from Houston several days a week through United, direct flights from Miami and Dallas through AA, direct flights from Atlanta every Saturday through Delta, WestJet direct from Toronto on Sundays during the winter months and charter flights during the winter months with Sunwing from Toronto and Montreal (sometimes with great last minute sell offs, you can buy air only, you don't need to do their packages). Sun Country has seasonal flights from Minneapolis. If you leave the airport parking lot, cross the road and flag a taxi on the street, you'll pay about $5 per person (taxis inside of the airport parking lot charge $20). A pick up can be arranged for $15 if you'd prefer. Tell the taxi driver you're going to Sandy Bay by Solgas (where people fill their propane tanks to cook with), which is across from Sonrise Calvary Chapel, it's between km marker 10 and 11. There's a little dirt road to the left, and we're the 5th building on the left. If you would like to come by bus, you can take one bus to Coxen Hole, then ask around for the bus that goes to Sandy Bay. Each bus costs around $1.
