Whew, what a week! Exciting milestones as we hit double digits and had our first night with a full house. Lots of laundry to do this weekend! We had a great crowd in, very multi national, including representatives from Spain, England, Hong Kong, Holland, US and Canada :) We had a pizza night by the pool, and a few of us went out to dinner one of the other nights. Thanks to all our guests for making it such a great week!

Semana Santa is upon us, the island has started getting a stream of visitors that will continue throughout the week. Roatan is the hot spot for many Central Americans this week. We have a few people in the hostel, more coming today and tomorrow so we're full for a few nights. Last night, we had a few drinks and a evening swim- it was a beautiful night, the moon was almost full.
The pool's all set, got the pumps hooked up, and I had the most relaxing Sunday afternoon on one of the lounge chairs. We're fully booked for part of next week, so it will be fun to have things in full swing! Tomorrow the carpenter will be over to install the storage compartments under the bunks in the 2nd dorm room, put up some shelves and build a little book shelf for the book exchange. I'm all stocked with sheets and towels.
We've just filled the pool, so the pumps will be installed tomorrow. The patio is all poured, with a long bench along one side of it, and a hammock. Just need a BBQ, and we'll be set for a great pool party! Ready for Semana Santa: all of Roatan gets a little crazy that week, so I'm looking forward to having our own little oasis and avoiding the crowds on the beach :)
How exciting, i've had my first multiple visitors this week: joining Pete was Mike, another diver, and then Adam, a Canadian traveling through Central America has come in for a couple nights. The pool is nearly done: just the small pieces of tile still getting worked on, and they finish pouring the patio today. Should be lounging in the sun by the weekend :)
