Whoops- I can't believe I haven't posted here since September, very negligent! Lots has happened since then. Our projects continued all fall, so we now have an oceanview deck, an expanded front porch on the hostel, and solar energy supplying part of the accommodations, as well as solar hot water. Then I took off traveling with the boys for a few months in South America, and left a friend in charge of the hostel. We just returned this week. It's so good to be home. I really love my hostel and all of our incredible guests :) Love hanging out in the pool, working on my garden. Just about to start our next project, which is installing a well. We're working towards being self-sufficient: our own energy, water, then we'll start on a vegetable garden and never have to go anywhere :)
